Krista Lortie

I have been a licensed Nail Technician sense 2006  I obtained my license here in Yakima then moved to Seattle to study with Gene Juarez where I received advanced training and attended a number of his continued education programs. It was through these programs that I became certified in Shellac and Reflexology. I continued working and studying there for four and a half years. In 2010, I decided to move back to Yakima to be closer to my family and spent the next five years providing a variety of nail services at A'laMode Spa & Salon.
In 2013, I got the opportunity to go back to school for Esthetics and jumped on it. Because I wanted to expand my available services list, I worked hard to receive my Master Esthetician License in early 2014.

After a lot of thought, in November of 2015, I decided it was time to venture off and start my own salon business. My family is very important to me. My Fiance and I have two active teenagers that are now playing sports, learning to drive, and starting to work. Having my own business has afforded me the ability to have a flexible schedule and take the necessary time to be there for my family. I wouldn't have it any other way.

In Spring of 2017 Dr. Robel came up with the idea to open a Organic Spa and invited me to join her which brings me here today. I am excited to start this new adventure in my life.
